I love tabbed browsing. I don’t know where I’d be today without it. It can, however, be distracting.
You see, when I’m diving into something important, I like to filter out the fluff and have only relevant tabs open. If I’m struggling to decide, I’ll move all the “fluff” to a different window and minimize it.
Here’s a peek at the tabs I have open right now:
- Learning Disabilities (dysgraphia)
- The Best Creamy Mushroom Sauce for Steaks — it really was delicious
- Why You Shouldn’t Start a Nonprofit
- Why Starting A Non-Profit To Create Social Change Is A Bad Idea
- 80’s Pop on Pandora
- Brian’s Catalog of Exotic Houseplants
- Google Search for Oxalis houseplant (go ahead, try it!)
- Google search for streptocarpus houseplant
- HUGBroward Presentation I’m working on in Google Docs
- (a few other Google Drive tabs)
- The Beginner’s Guide to Segmentation and Buyer Personas, by Jeffrey Russo
- Personal email
- Office email
- New blog post (ahem)
Are you like me?
Do you open tabs upon tabs while you’re browsing, or are you a single window browser?
